Enjoy fall foliage and the quiet charm of the Texas Hill Country with a guided trail ride on horseback with Maverick Horseback Riding in Lockhart.

This Marble Falls farm offers the harvest of fall fun. Admission and parking are free! Pay for the activities you want to do or the pumpkins you choose. Activities include hayrides, a train, a maze, sand art, horse rides, stuff a scarecrow, face painting, giant jumping pillows and homemade ice cream made with the goods from the farm. 

4. Sweet Eats Fruit Farm

They have a multitude of activities available for all ages; from Pony Rides and Pig Races to our Hay Maze and giant Petting Zoo there is plenty to keep ages 1-100 entertained for hours. Come, pick fruit and only pay for what you pick, or stay for all the fun farm activities and enjoy unlimited access upon entry fee.

5. Banger's

Opening October 1st! 

Celebrate Central Texas' German heritage. Toast the harvest with a stein of bier and a juicy bratwurst in hand.

6. Boo at the Zoo

Unleash your little ones at the Austin Zoo, where they can enjoy Boo at the Zoo on select nights each October. Enjoy a spooky train ride, an entertaining puppet show and a haunted mansion, in addition to meeting the animal residents.

7. Oakwood Cemetary

For the more adventurous ones, join the free annual Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour on October 31, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery and learn about the unfortunate demise of some of its locally famous residents, portrayed by actors at actual grave sites.

8. Scream Hollow Wicked Halloween Park (Ages 12 and Up only)

An hour outside of Austin you can brave four different haunted houses and the only vampire bar in Texas!

9. Ghost Tour at historic Pioneer Farms

Venture onto the haunted trails with a Ghost Tour (ages 16+) or other tours at historic Pioneer Farms to find funny and super-scary surprises along the way.
